Model DC40RA is a fast charger developed for charging XGT Li-Ion batteries Equipped with two cooling fans, one for battery and the other for charging circuit enabling it to charge consecutive batteries at the optimum charge time
The 110v version of the DC18RC uses intelligent charging technology to control current, voltage and temperature to maximise battery life. It charges Makita 3.0Ah batteries in approximately 22 minutes, 4.0Ah Batteries in approximately 36 minutes and 5.0Ah Batteries in approximately 45 minutes.
This kit contains 4x Makita BL1860 18v 6.0Ah Li-Ion batteries with charge indicator LEDs, a DC18RD twin 18v intelligent charger and a MakPac 3 stacking case plus inlay. The BL1860 18v 6.0Ah battery is engineered to give more run time (twice the run time of the Makita 3.0Ah LXT battery), but with the same weight and dimensions as the lower-capacity 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah, and 5.0Ah LXT batteries. It reaches a full charge in only 55 minutes (with DC18RC / DC18RD fast chargers), the fastest charge time in its category. Includes a battery capacity indicator LED so you know how much charge is left. The DC18RD charges two 18v Li-Ion batteries simultaneously. The rapid charge technology selects the optimum voltage and current and temperature is controlled by the forced air system that circulates air through the battery to prevent overheating. and a full charge sound alert confirms when the charge cycle is complete. The Makita 191N14-5 240V Two Port Charger can charge two separate Makita XGT Li-Ion batteries at the same time. It has a handy charging status indicator light for maximum visibility, and offers a selectable melody sound for full charge notification. It includes two cooling fans, one for the charging circuit and one for the battery. It delivers optimum charging control by utilising feedback of real-time battery data, and can be wall mounted. The charger can perform consecutive fast charging of batteries, and features an electronic current limiter for overload protection.

A complete battery and charger starter kit for Makita's 40v XGT cordless power tool range, the 191K01-6 Power Source pack contains a 40v battery charger and two 4.0ah XGT batteries along with a Makpac type 1 stackable case for transport and storage.
The Makita DC18SD charger is suitable for charging both 14.4V–18V in 60–90 minutes. The charger uses a CPU to communicate with the battery's built-in memory chip during a charge cycle, which analyses the data stored in the battery chip to decide on the best charging method at that time. This innovative technology results in longer battery life.
Makita developed the 40v Max XGT range for high demand tools used in continuous operations. The casing has a new design that protects the battery from dust and moisture, plus shock-absorbing padding protects it from drop impact damage.
